Media plays a central role in engaging, connecting, and informing people so they can thrive together. How we create, interact with, and consume media, matters. Through media, we reflect the reality we know. But we also build the reality we want to see. Through media, we can change the world.

Engaged Media supports the Student Media Collective — a self-governed charter organization of three individual student-run media groups — as well as media literacy related programming and research that fosters collaboration across the UMBC campus through partnerships with staff, faculty, students, alumni, and academic departments.
